Tashie continues to get better and better and stronger and stronger. She keeps trying to strike a bargain to discontinue her antibiotics, but so far she has been persuaded to persist and prevail.
Dear Eliza, My daughter, Sarah, is living in L.A. and would like to come and visit Tashie. If you think this would be a good idea, please call her at 323-284-8688. I wish I could visit myself, but the continent is just too wide and too long. Thanks again for the regular updates. vicki
A big hug from the Bruns family. I was talking to Adam about Tash's adventures recently. He asked if she lost her hair. I explained that we were all very grateful that she didn't have to have the unpleasant medicine that caused that. He thought if was the cancer that caused it. I explained that once they removed the lump in Tash's breast, they found that chemo was unnecessary. Once Adam heard that word "breast" his eyes grew wide and he quickly changed the subject. He was recalling the time when he saw a bird floating in the big pond at Spring Creek and we all thought it was a baby owl. It was a grand rescue, and at Tashie's insistence we had to name him "William" (I'm thinking after "trespasser's william" - can't quite recall (do you Tash). Our little William barely survived the nite and by the time we got him to the special vet near Bend who harbors such injured souls - he had passed on to a more beautiful place (and turned out to be a nighthawk). But, it's hard to imagine there could be a more beautiful place than Spring Creek.
We are looking forward to seeing you there this summer Tash! We send all our love!
